Summary: The role of Business Analyst – Finance / ERP involves providing strategic business analysis for a major ERP systems project within a UK-based property company. The analyst will focus on finance processes, conducting gap analysis, defining business requirements, and appraising solutions. A strong background in finance business processes and excellent stakeholder engagement skills are essential for success in this position. The role requires a degree and offers a competitive daily rate for an initial six-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic business analysis for ERP implementation focused on finance processes.
- Establish current and future state process maps and undertake gap analysis.
- Define business requirements and establish a backlog.
- Appraise solutions, business cases, and associated risks.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of business analysis experience on finance process-focused projects.
- Significant understanding of finance business processes and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven experience in current/future state and operating model business analysis.
- Exposure to SAP is preferential.
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution.

Business Analyst – Finance / ERP – Property
A UK-based property company are undertaking a major ERP systems project and are looking for a business analyst to provide strategic finance-process focused business analysis for the implementation. You will be responsible for providing strategic business analysis around current and future states, establishing as-is and to-be process maps, undertaking gap analysis, defining business requirements, establishing a backlog, and appraising solutions, business cases, and risks relating to these solutions.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 5+ years business analysis experience on finance process focused projects (non-technical)
- Significant understanding of finance business processes and how they map to ERP systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven current/future state, as-is/to-be, and operating model business analysis experience
- Exposure to SAP is preferential but detailed knowledge is not a requirement
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution
This is a £500/day (umbrella rate, cf. £425 PAYE) role initially for six months, based Worcestershire. 2-3 days in office in Worcestershire is required.
