Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of analysis activities, ensuring deliverables meet business objectives and deadlines.
  • Map and document as-is and to-be business processes using industry-standard notation.
  • Elicit, validate and write clear high- and detailed-level requirements aligned to project scope.
  • Review deliverables for consistency, completeness and alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Prepare handover documentation and conduct sessions to transition analysis outputs to downstream workstreams.

Hamilton Barnes are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to join our client's team on an initial six-month contract with one of the UK's leading financial services organisations. In this hybrid role (two days per week on-site in Leeds), you'll own the end-to-end analysis for the new Outbound Faster Payments project - defining as-is and to-be processes, documenting high, and detailed-level requirements, conducting Business Impact Assessments, and delivering key BA artefacts to drive timely, high-quality outcomes.
