Summary: Hays is seeking an experienced e-trading Business Analyst for a global bank, focusing on enhancing electronic trading of commodities derivatives. This role is part of the e-Commodities team and is offered as an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension. Candidates with a background in upgrading or customizing e-trading applications within financial services are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve the firm's electronic trading of commodities derivatives.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, and document proposals.
- Conduct Unit, QA, and Regression testing.
- Utilize SQL knowledge and work with cloud-based pipelines (Azure or AWS).
Key Skills:
- Strong background in investment banking and capital markets, particularly in e-trading applications.
- Extensive business analysis experience.
- Technical capabilities in testing and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies.
Salary (Rate): £750/day

Hays have partnered with a global bank to appoint an experienced e-trading Business Analyst to an initial 6-month contract. Sitting in the e-Commodities team, your role will be crucial to improving the firms' electronic trading of commodities derivatives. Working Arrangements: Hybrid (3-days in London Office)
Duration: 6 months + potential extension
Rate: £700 - £750/day inside via Umbrella

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed
- A strong background in investment banking and capital markets on e-trading applications either in commodities (preferred) or other asset classes
- Extensive business analysis experience, with a honed skillset in requirements gathering, solution design and proposal documentation
- Technical capabilities in Unit, QA, and Regression testing will be highly regarded, as will good SQL knowledge and familiarity with cloud-based pipelines (Azure or AWS)
