Summary: Data and MI Business Analyst is needed for a 6-month contract in the insurance sector, focusing on data transformation, mapping, and migration efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Map and document current state data models, data lineage, and ETL flows
- Drive data quality remediation and design future-state operating models
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver trusted, scalable MI/BI solutions
- Support data migration and architecture for new strategic systems
- Work within governance frameworks to support compliance, security, and audit readiness
Key Skills:
- Experience in the insurance industry (broker or insurer environment)
- Proven track record in data mapping, MI/BI delivery, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI
- Confident documenting both current-state and target operating models
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and transformation best practices

Data and MI Business Analyst required on a 6 month contract basis to join a dynamic transformation programme within the insurance sector.
Location : Hybrid – flexibility required to attend occasional meetings at our Gloucester office

Rate : £450–£500 per day dependant on experience

About the Role
You’ll play a key role in data transformation, working on mapping, lineage, and migration efforts tied to legacy and strategic policy admin and claims systems. Your work will directly impact the quality and accessibility of enterprise data across underwriting and distribution.
