Summary: Business Analyst needed to support a data labelling and classification programme, focusing on defining labelling requirements and ensuring data is accurately labelled for analytics. The role involves collaboration with various teams to align labelling with data lake structures and implement quality assurance measures. The position requires strong stakeholder management and documentation skills, along with experience in data classification. The working arrangement is hybrid, with a requirement to be in London three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and document labelling/classification requirements with business, data science, and engineering teams.
- Define taxonomies, labelling rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with data engineers to embed labelling metadata into data lakes and pipelines.
- Set up QA checks and KPIs to monitor label accuracy and consistency.
- Support Agile delivery (user stories, backlog, testing, stakeholder alignment).
Key Skills:
- Business Analyst on data/tech projects.
- Knowledge of data lakes, metadata, and data quality.
- Experience with data classification/taxonomy work.
- Strong stakeholder management and clear documentation skills.
