Summary: The Business Analyst - Data role focuses on enhancing enterprise data management objectives within a global organization. The position requires collaboration with various teams to develop strategies and solutions for Data Contracts, ensuring adherence to standards and frameworks. The role is hybrid and falls inside IR35 regulations, with a contract duration until January 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Data Management, Business and IT teams to support development of the strategy and solution design for the Data Contracts capability.
- Collaborate with Group Data Management Office (GDMO) colleagues, Business and IT teams to drive Data Contracts related capability enhancements (from requirements to implementation) using agile methodology.
- Establish close partnership with business divisions and corporate functions - supporting them in Data Contracts adoption, and applying challenge if required to ensure GDMO standards and frameworks are adhered to.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Financial Services
- Proven track record working within a data related environment, particularly one involving business change delivery
- Proactive approach to managing workload, taking ownership of tasks and issues and seeing them through to completion within allotted timeframes
- Ability to effectively take concepts to pragmatic solutions
- Ability to apply a logical and detail-oriented analytical thought process to resolving issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (presentation, interpersonal); Experience of distilling key messages for senior partners

We are looking for a Business Analyst to:

Your team
The Group Data Management Office (GDMO) is a global team of 300 people responsible for embedding a data management culture by advocating for our strategy and proactively challenging the way the firm works with data.
This role sits within the Data Contracts service area in the DataOps team within GDMO.
The Data Contracts team is responsible for efficient and effective governance over producer / consumer relationships, in relation to data. This includes the strategy, minimum standards, methodology, processes and tooling to support effective producer/consumer agreements on data transfers.
Your expertise
Required:

- Experience in implementingData Contracts, Data Agreements or similar capability
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management Toolset (Collibra, DQIM, IDQ etc.)
- Working knowledge of data analytics tools and technology
- Working knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
