Summary: The Senior Business Analyst - Cyber Security role is focused on scoping and shaping projects related to Business Protection and Cyber Security within the Global Cyber Change team. The position requires defining requirements for improving processes and systems while establishing a baseline security capability across the Security framework. The ideal candidate will leverage existing architectures to deliver effective solutions and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out business analysis to develop appropriate, deliverable, and affordable solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure solution integrity and alignment with customer needs, benefit assumptions, and target architecture throughout the Project/Programme life-cycle.
- Manage and escalate risks/issues with solutions/options for resolution.
- Identify and manage dependencies (internal, cross-project, and external).
- Be responsible for their own professional development, including active participation in the BA Practice.
- Be fully accountable for actions and decisions within the project structure and the quality of their work.
- Support the development of the Business Case.
Key Skills:
- Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in medium/large or complex assignments within a large-scale organisation.
- Detailed experience of business analysis and application of standard Business Analysis tools and techniques.
- High-level knowledge of the end-to-end project lifecycle, working within both Agile frameworks and waterfall methodologies.
- Detailed knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Requirements Management processes.
- Understanding of the market/financial services industry and regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of the Configuration Management process and its application.

Overview
This role is part of the Global Cyber Change team and is accountable for the scoping and shaping of potential projects and programmes of work, including quantifying potential business benefits. Key responsibilities include defining requirements for improving processes and systems related to Business Protection, Security Controls, and Cyber Security threats/vulnerabilities. This involves creating or amending Target Operating Models across Global Markets to enable a standard set of security tools and services globally. The focus is on establishing a baseline security capability across the Security framework: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover, ultimately securing customers, employees, their data, and the business.
Responsibilities
- Carry out business analysis to develop appropriate, deliverable, and affordable solutions that meet business needs, maximising the leverage of existing architectures.
- Ensure solution integrity and alignment with customer needs, benefit assumptions, and target architecture throughout the Project/Programme life-cycle.

Essential Skills & Experience Required
The ideal candidate should be motivated by making a difference, enjoy variety, and possess strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills. While a proven background in Cyber Security is desirable, it is not essential.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Working on medium/large or complex assignments within a large-scale organisation, providing specialist business expertise to solve problems or exploit opportunities, detailed experience of business analysis, and application of standard Business Analysis tools and techniques.
Methodologies:
- High-level knowledge of the end-to-end project lifecycle, working within both Agile frameworks and waterfall methodologies.
Technical Knowledge:
- Detailed knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Requirements Management processes (e.g., waterfall, agile developments, CMMI), understanding of the market/financial services industry and regulatory framework, and knowledge of the Configuration Management process and its application.
