Summary: A leading energy trading business is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Business Analyst to lead a high-impact risk project involving the implementation of CubeLogic. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate complex risk requirements into clear documentation. This position is outside IR35 and has an ASAP start date. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis workstreams for a Credit Risk platform implementation, acting as a bridge between technology teams and business users.
- Engage with key stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk to gather and define business requirements.
- Translate complex risk requirements into clear documentation, ensuring traceability through development and testing.
- Support the design and implementation of target operating models and data flows.
- Work closely with the vendor (CubeLogic) to support integration and ensure delivery is aligned to business needs.
- Operate autonomously, driving delivery and managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst within Credit Risk, ideally with experience delivering similar vendor-based solutions.
- Commodity trading sector experience is essential, preferably in oil, gas, or energy markets.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge across Front and Middle Office.
- Solid understanding of credit risk processes, data, and reporting requirements.
- Experience with CubeLogic or similar credit risk platforms is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, delivery-focused environment with minimal supervision.
