Summary: The role of Business Analyst focuses on supporting a global Asset Management company in a significant Charles River project. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week in London. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Charles River and asset management to manage product backlogs and facilitate design workshops. Key responsibilities include data analysis, Agile story writing, and collaboration with the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience working on a Charles River Project
  • Previous experience of working in Asset Management/Investment Management/Wealth Management
  • Must have worked in a fund management company as a business analyst supporting investment management Front Office functions in particular day to day fund management, analytics and trading
  • Must have extensive experience with the Charles River platform, including familiarity with the CRIMS data model and client APIs
  • Must have previous experience of working with data, comfortable writing SQL queries, using Swagger, XML data sets and schemas, analysing data and defining requirements for optimal data structure
  • Must have experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Must have Agile Story Writing
  • Experience of data services an advantage
  • Completing a Product Backlog from Epic' level business analysis and design down to detailed User stories'
  • Responsible for management and prioritisation of the product backlog with the Product Owner
  • Ownership of backlog creation and estimation for clarification of scope and delivery timeline
  • Ownership of design workshops; leading development team and identifying solutions which are captured within the user stories
  • Ownership of Epics and User stories' Stories from analysis phase to live; including defect management and work prioritisation

6 months rolling, London & Remote Working

Bench IT require an experienced Business Analyst to assist our client who are global Asset Management company on a large Charles River project. This role will be working hybrid 2 days per week in the city of London.

The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below:

  • Previous experience working on a Charles River Project
  • Previous experience of working in Asset Management/Investment Management/Wealth Management
