Summary: The Business Analyst - Business Case Specialist role involves providing critical support for the submission of major Business Cases to the Government.   • Executive support - preparing briefings for senior leaders, including C-Suite.
  • Ad-hoc analysis - providing financial analysis, modelling, and clear explanations to inform decision-making.

Key Skills:

  • Strong financial modelling and scenario analysis expertise (but not an accountant role).
  • Demonstrable experience supporting Government business cases.

Our client, a leading consultancy, is supporting the submission of two major Business Cases to Government (DBT and HMT). They now require a Business Analyst to provide critical support in the run-up to Investment Committee and approval panel.

The role will involve:

  • Financial modelling & case refinement - adapting an existing model to present potential funding scenarios and adding clear narrative.

  • Stakeholder engagement - working with colleagues across POL and Government to support DBT and HMT final reviews.

  • Executive support - preparing briefings for senior leaders, including C-Suite.
