Duties:
Overview:
- We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support a large-scale Agile program involving multiple Scrum squads for a custom JAVA application that will be enhanced to integrate with SAP.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and skilled facilitator, capable of driving clarity across teams, managing dependencies, and mentoring other BAs.
- This role requires strong experience in Agile story writing, functional specifications, vendor coordination, and test case development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-squad collaboration and alignment across multiple Scrum teams operating in different time zones.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in the form of Agile user stories and Functional Specifications (FSPECS) for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams to ensure backlog readiness and sprint planning.
- Write and maintain FUT (Functional Unit Test) cases to validate business requirements and ensure quality delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, promoting best practices in Agile analysis and documentation.
- Manage internal dependencies across squads and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
- Coordinate with external vendors to align deliverables, manage integration points, and track dependencies.
- Support UAT planning and execution, including defect triage and business validation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Agile maturity across the program.
Skills:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
- Proven experience working across multiple Scrum squads and managing cross-team dependencies.
- Strong expertise in writing Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and FSPECS for SAP integrations.
- Hands-on experience writing FUT test cases and supporting QA/UAT efforts.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring other Business Analysts and driving consistency in documentation and analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large enterprise programs with vendor-managed components.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
