Project Description: The Client`s core platform replacement for the UK customs handling systems which processes the declarations for goods entering and leaving the UK/EU through ports and airports, support the calculation and payment of the correct duty and taxes and the completion of customs information electronically. The current systems handle approx. 60M declarations per year, but the potential exists for these volumes to increase five-fold in a post-Brexit landscape; it therefore forms a critical part of the government planning for Brexit.

Skills: Self-motivated with a demonstrable track record of defining and delivering highly testable acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional requirements Ability to gather requirements and translate these business discussions into a roadmap for technical teams (architects, developers and testers) to work from. Comfortable with pursuing face to face and mobile communication to resolve problems quickly Experience with Agile methodologies developing feature roadmaps, backlogs and measurable acceptance criteria, and of writing user stories, i.e. can establish a path to delivery for breaking down stories
