Summary: The Business Analyst role at Ocado Group is a 9-month fixed-term contract based in Hatfield, focusing on bridging business needs with technology solutions. The position involves working with Oracle Fusion Finance and Supply Chain modules, as well as Workday HCM, to gather and document requirements, configure applications, and support user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis and a strong understanding of finance and supply chain processes. This role is essential for ensuring alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather information and analyze current processes.
- Document and maintain detailed business requirements documents, use cases, and process flows.
- Develop and maintain functional and non-functional specifications for Oracle Cloud Fusion and Workday HCM.
- Configure and test Oracle Cloud Fusion applications and Workday HCM to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure proper implementation of solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide end-user training.
- Identify and analyze business process improvements and recommend solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with Oracle Cloud Fusion and Workday HCM updates and best practices.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion applications in Finance and Supply Chain modules and Workday HCM.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to finance and supply chain.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to elicit and document complex business requirements.
- Experience with various business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
- Preferred certifications in Business Analysis and Oracle Cloud Fusion.
- Experience with data migration and integration projects.
