We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in User-Centred Design (UCD), Design Operations (DesignOps), and User Research to join a high-profile digital transformation programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who thrives in multidisciplinary product teams and can bridge the gap between business objectives, user needs, and service design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements.
• Work closely with UCD specialists, designers, researchers, product managers, and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Translate user research insights into actionable business requirements and recommendations.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of user-centred digital services.
• Contribute to DesignOps initiatives, helping to establish and optimise design processes, governance, and best practices.
• Create high-quality documentation, including user stories, process maps, and business cases.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within digital transformation or government/public sector environments.
• Strong understanding of User-Centred Design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with or supporting User Research activities.
• Exposure to or experience within DesignOps environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Active SC Clearance (highly desirable).
• Experience working on GDS-aligned programmes.
• Public sector or central government experience.
