Summary: The Building Services Manager role focuses on the delivery of MEP services for a hospital project, requiring a mechanically biased candidate with significant experience in MEP contracting. Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:

  • Minimum HND level education in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in MEP contracting.
  • Experience with a tier one M&E Sub-contractor or as a Building Services Manager.
  • Mechanical background preferred; understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical services advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HTMs and HBMs is advantageous.
  • Experience in M&E design coordination.

Building Services Manager - preferably Mechanically biased - hospital/healthcare project.c£400-450 a day - ongoing (framework agreement) - Kent coast (East) - site based role.Working for a tier 1 main Contractor specialising in providing construction, services and property management expertise in Building and Civil Engineering, Property Development, and Industrial sectors. You will be charged with the delivery of MEP services on a hospital project. You will be required to carry out the full coordination and management of M&E services installations of this project working as part of a team and reporting to a Lead MEP Manager. You will be educated to a minimum HND level in a relevant field with a good level of experience working for at least 5 years within the MEP contracting arena with a tier one M&E Sub-contractor or as a Building Services Manager within a main contracting environment. Mechanical background is preferred although a good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical services is advantageous. An understanding of HTMs and HBMs would be advantageous.The role will be the coordination of the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services and management of an on-site M&E team who will monitor the progress of the M&E sub-contractors on site. An understanding of design and influence in M&E design coordination will be advantageous as would previous experience working on projects within this sector. The role will also involve the production and implementation of the Commissioning, testing and inspection and documentation ready for handover.
