Summary: The role of External Quality Assurer (EQA) involves conducting and documenting quality assurance activities in accordance with City & Guilds and regulatory standards. The position requires maintaining effective relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office while planning and monitoring quality assurance activities. Applicants must possess relevant expertise in Electrical qualifications and hold appropriate assessor qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document quality assurance activities in line with City & Guilds and regulatory arrangements.
- Support centres with industry and quality assurance expertise.
- Maintain effective working relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office.
- Plan and monitor quality assurance activities in accordance with qualification requirements.
Key Skills:
- Current and credible expertise in Electrical qualifications.
- Appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing supportive, concise feedback to learners, assessors, and delivery staff.
- Ideally located within the region(s) of the advertised vacancy.

As a City & Guilds EQA you will need to maintain effective working relationships with our centres and the City & Guilds office, planning and monitoring quality assurance activities in line with our qualification requirements. Applicants must meet the essential criteria: current and credible expertise of working with Electrical qualifications hold the appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) achieved or be working towards the (6312-41) External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or its equivalent (D35/ V2) experience of working in a regulated environment excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of providing supportive, concise feedback to both learners, assessors and delivery staff Ideally located within the region(s) of the advertised vacancy Training for the External Quality Assurer role will be provided following the successful review and vetting of your application.
