Summary: The role of Building & Construction Project Manager involves leading capital construction and infrastructure projects within a prominent aerospace and engineering organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead construction, facilities, and infrastructure projects through the full project life cycle.
  • Develop project plans, CAPEX business cases, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with operational requirements.
  • Manage project governance, contractor performance, stakeholder communications, and project reporting.
  • Support commissioning, handover, and operational integration of completed projects.

Key Skills:

  • Proven construction project management experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of the construction life cycle and delivery of CAPEX projects.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, budgets, programmes, and project risks.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services and infrastructure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree/HND in Construction, Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Project and project management software.

BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - AEROSPACE & ADVANCED MANUFACTURING - BELFAST - UP TO £40 PER HOUR (INSIDE IR35) - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of capital construction and infrastructure projects across aerospace manufacturing and engineering facilities. This client-side role offers responsibility for projects from feasibility and design through to commissioning and handover, supporting critical operational and production environments.

Responsibilities:
