Summary: This role involves leading CAPEX projects within a renowned aircraft manufacturing organization, overseeing all phases from inception to handover. The Building and Construction Project Leader will manage multi-functional teams, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage Multi-Functional Project Teams to deliver projects in accordance with internal requirements and compliance to the company's procedures.
- Lead Multi-Functional Teams through the detailed design of Building Services for a range of projects, including major plant replacement and refurbishment works.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other design team members to develop detailed design briefs and prepare reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Monitor and validate the progress of Professional Service Work Packages, observing technical compliance and health and safety matters.
Key Skills:
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a Multi-Functional Project Team, including external professionals.
- Previous experience in Capital Investment Project management and project delivery.
- Demonstrable experience of taking projects from inception and feasibility, through design and specification, to site monitoring and handover.
- A good practical understanding of mechanical and electrical plant, systems, and equipment across a wide range of sectors and building types.
- Relevant professional membership, such as CIBSE, IMechE, or IET.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
