Summary: The BRC Auditor role involves ensuring that production meets quality requirements and standards while providing support and training to operational teams. The position requires planning and conducting audits on Quality Management and Food Safety systems, maintaining equipment, and analyzing products. The auditor will also coordinate trials of new products and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure production meets all company and customer quality requirements and standards.
- Provide support, guidance, and training to operational teams.
- Plan and conduct audits on Quality Management and Food Safety (HACCP) systems.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment and services required for quality purposes.
- Analyze plant, raw materials, and finished products.
- Maintain quality consumables according to budget.
- Coordinate trials of new products, materials, and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and statutory bodies, and participate in relevant site meetings.
- Coach production teams on quality framework standards.
Key Skills:
- BRC certification.
- Sound knowledge of food production processes and legislation.
- HACCP expertise.
- Ability to manage information and represent trending and analysis.
- Audit expertise, preferably as Lead Auditor.
- Experience in FMCG environment.
- Skills in developing, implementing, and maintaining food quality management and audits.
