Summary: The Brand Manager role focuses on leading regional brand activation and execution for a fast-growing pet food company specializing in premium, natural products. The position requires experience in trade activation, shopper marketing, and managing a team, with an emphasis on collaboration and support within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning regional brand plans with global strategies and executing campaigns for brand and product innovation. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract aimed at proactive marketers ready for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regional brand activation and execution across trade and consumer channels (POS, trade shows, social), adapting global toolkits
- Deliver regional brand plans aligned to global strategy, providing market insight and input into short- and long-term planning
- Support the delivery of the 5-year brand growth plan, including KPI tracking and brand health measurement
- Execute and adapt global B2C and B2B campaigns and launch plans for brand and product innovation
- Act as the day-to-day brand representative in regional NPD/EPD stage-gate meetings
- Work closely with Sales and retail partners to develop and deliver customer JBPs within budget and growth targets
- Manage agency relationships, including briefing, delivery, timelines, and budget control
- Maintain and support development of regional and DTC websites, ensuring alignment with global teams
- Line-manage and develop team members, providing coaching and support
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to share best practice and support scalable initiatives
- Champion brand guardianship and B Corp principles
Key Skills:
- Proven FMCG experience, ideally within grocery retail
- Strong background in brand activation, shopper marketing, and trade execution, with ability to measure ROI
- Experience translating global brand strategy into effective local market delivery
- Hands-on experience with brand planning cycles and budget management
- Experience working with agencies, including creative briefing and delivery management
- Exposure to paid online media (display, Meta); Amazon or D2C experience a plus
- Previous line management experience with willingness to coach and develop junior team members
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident IT user (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
