Information About The Role
An exciting opportunity is available within CTPNW for an experienced trainer responsible for delivering specialist training to CTPNW staff and officers across the North West region. They will lead on the planning and delivery of National Ports Procedures courses, Behavioural Assessment Training, Terrorism legislation and Investigations training, Induction courses, Behavioural Assessment Training, CPD workshops, and various other training sessions and inputs (as required) to ensure CT Capability at Borders is maintained. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Terrorism legislation, Investigative training (including ICIDP) and operational procedures at Borders, including the principles of Behavioural Detection. In addition, the candidate must be experienced in Assessment, and will work alongside the College of Policing in fulfilling the programme of accreditation and reaccreditation of Examining and Review officers in Schedule 7 Tact 2000 and CTBSA 2019 Schedule 3 legislation. There will also be a requirement to assist with IT training, so should be competent using IT systems, databases, and internet. They should also be prepared to use and develop their skills in online training package creation and delivery.
