Summary: The Bordereaux Analyst role is focused on managing and processing bordereaux data within the DUA team of a Lloyd's business. This position is crucial for ensuring data accuracy and compliance, supporting underwriting oversight and operational reporting. The analyst will work collaboratively to resolve data issues and maintain quality standards. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, validation, and processing of bordereaux data from brokers and coverholders.
- Ensure bordereaux data meets agreed quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Support the upload and management of data within bordereaux systems and resolve data issues as they arise.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, breaches and support investigation and resolution.
- Maintain oversight of data timeliness and query resolution.
- Support the wider delegated authority team with operational and reporting requirements.
- Operate in line with internal controls, regulatory standards, and risk management expectations.
Key Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret data accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
- Positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with bordereaux data.
- Experience with bordereaux management systems (e.g. VIPR) beneficial but not essential.
