Summary: The Bordereaux MI Analyst role involves supporting the Bdx Management team and providing data analysis for an insurance client on a 6-month contract. The position requires expertise in PowerBI and SQL, along with strong business data analysis skills. The analyst will act as a key contact for the MI Department and manage stakeholder communications across global offices. This role is hybrid, requiring two days a week onsite in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Bdx Management team and downstream functions with data and analysis
- Act as key contact for MI Department in this field and provide relevant business knowledge
- Collect and understand requirements for new PowerBI reporting and deliver new reports
- Complete complex ad-hoc requests
- Produce clear and concise reports to analyse business activity
- Manage stakeholders across multiple global offices and ensure communications are maintained
Key Skills:
- An understanding of the insurance function and data requirements therein
- Excellent knowledge of PowerBI and can clearly demonstrate knowledge on building reports to a high standard
- Strong business data analysis skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases; can demonstrate how to write queries
- Effectively uses and manipulates data from databases and IT systems to produce qualitative data for the business
- Financial sector/Insurance experience
