Summary: The BMS Commissioning Engineer role focuses on commissioning, testing, and optimizing Siemens BMS installations in commercial and critical environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Commission Siemens Desigo BMS systems across live and new-build sites
- Configure and test Desigo PX / PXC controllers
- Work with Desigo CC, including graphics, alarms, trends, and schedules
- Carry out FATs, SATs, functional testing, and client witness testing
- Integrate BMS with HVAC plant, metering, and third-party systems using BACnet
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and communications issues
- Produce commissioning documentation and handover packs
- Support clients post-handover with system optimisation and fine-tuning
Key Skills:
- Proven experience commissioning Siemens BMS systems
- Hands-on experience with Desigo CC and Siemens controller configuration
- Strong understanding of HVAC plant and control strategies
- Experience with BACnet integration and fault-finding
- Ability to work independently on site
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with Desigo Insight or legacy Siemens estates (desirable)
- Exposure to other BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, or Schneider ECS or CSCS card (desirable)
- Experience working in healthcare, data centres, or critical infrastructure environments (desirable)
