Summary: The BIM Project Manager role at Scottish Power Transmissions involves overseeing the implementation of BIM processes and technologies for infrastructure projects. The position requires collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with standards and effective information management. The role emphasizes continual improvement in BIM practices and high-quality project delivery. This is a contract position based in Cambuslang with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Programme plan and Roadmap
- Develop processes and procedures for information management
- Manage Common Data Environment
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors regarding information exchanges and coordination
- Collaborate with delivery partners
- Oversee multiple deliveries and champion internal BIM procedures
- Assist project teams to meet client, business, and industry requirements
Key Skills:
- Experience with Common Data Environment, preferably Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Proficiency in Revit for drafting 3D models
- Experience with Navisworks and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud for clash detection
- Ability to provide guidance and training on software and information exchange workflows
- Understanding of BS EN ISO 19650 and its deployment
- Experience in contributing to BIM Execution Plans
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
- Project Management IT systems delivery experience
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows
- Knowledge of 4D animations and planning
