DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business are seeking x 3 Billing Data Analysts to play a vital role within our Finance function, this is a project role looking at our Billing processes and looking at continuous improvement in this space

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Billing Automation
  • Data Cleansing and Process Preparation
  • Review current Invoicing processes and Excel files understanding the formulae and reports used.
  • Attend workshops with the process owners to fill any gaps in process flows, including the formulae implemented on different fields in Excel to transform into the expected output.
  • Take the fields from the raw data input file and insert into the standardised data template.
  • Through interviews and workshops, identify standardisation and optimisation potential.
  • Develop formulas in Excel to "automate" and fasten the process of data cleansing/transformation of each use case into a given standard template
  • Before technical implementation: reconcile the processing in Excel using sample data to ensure that the rules are configured properly and accurately
  • After technical implementation: reconcile the processing in the automation tool using sample data to ensure that the rules are configured properly and accurately
  • Provide status reports for the data preparation of the use cases regularly to the Billing Automation project lead.
  • Through Weekly face to face meetings.
  • Review & support Billing SOP creation.
  • Support billing process review workshops with the use case owners to assess and optimise process flows to determine "optimisation potential" and enhance "automation readiness"
  • Support implementation of new billing standards.

Highly organised and used to adapting to regular changes in priority, keeping senior members of the team informed of any impact on their tasks/projects and ensuring all deadlines are kept to.
Essential: Good Knowledge and experience of MS Excel
Essential: Experience with data entry and reconciliation.
Preferred but not essential: Experience with Customer-Billing processes.
