Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and processing of the firm's invoices and credit notes in line with the firm's policies.
  • Dealing with fee earner and secretary queries on billing related matters including time transfers, fee allocations and write offs.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the client & matter database.
  • Ensuring the correct fee rates are in place.
  • Assisting with chasing missing timesheets.
  • Potentially assisting with clients requiring e-billing but not essential.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Key Skills:

  • Aderant knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous legal finance experience necessary.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge required.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Good attention to detail.
