BigID Consultant - Data Privacy

Summary: A leading global financial institution is looking for a BigID Consultant to assist with its cloud migration and privacy platform transformation, focusing on BigID and the Privacy Portal. The role requires expertise in managing and optimizing these platforms to ensure compliance and security. The consultant will also lead upgrades and collaborate with various teams to align on data privacy and protection policies. This position is critical for the successful transition to a SaaS model and the decommissioning of legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as subject matter expert for BigID and Privacy Portal, ensuring stability, security and availability across environments (OpenShift/Azure)
• Lead and perform version upgrades, maintenance and hygiene tasks in line with platform standards
• Define the future-state support model for BigID SaaS, incorporating observability, alerting and automation best practices
• Plan and execute the decommissioning of the Legacy Azure-hosted BigID platform after SaaS migration
• Collaborate with privacy, cyber and risk teams to align on compliance, monitoring and controls

Key Skills:

• Deep hands-on experience and subject matter expertise in BigID (on-prem and SaaS)
• Strong understanding of data discovery, privacy, and classification policies
• Exposure to Privacy Portal or similar data privacy management platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise data protection policies and frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Able to work with cross-functional teams including cyber, risk, cloud, and data governance
• Background in financial services or highly regulated industries (preferred)
