Bid Coordinator

The Role

Working closely with Bid Managers, Capture Managers and teams across Commercial, Finance, Business Development and technical functions, you will provide coordination and administrative support throughout the bid and proposal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating bid activities, schedules, milestones and deadlines
  • Maintaining action trackers and following up outstanding actions
  • Supporting the preparation and collation of bid documentation and submission packs
  • Managing and tracking bid and tender clarifications
  • Organising bid meetings and workshops
  • Preparing meeting documentation, minutes and action points
  • Supporting the preparation and formatting of proposals and presentations
  • Coordinating information and contributions from multiple stakeholders
  • Maintaining bid schedules, trackers and key milestone information
  • Supporting document control and maintaining accurate document repositories
  • Maintaining bid libraries, templates, CVs and project references
  • Supporting reporting on bid activity and progress
  • Helping ensure submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered within required timescales

About You

We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

Bid Coordination | Proposal Support | Bid Administration | Tender Support | Project Administration | Project Coordination

You will need excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the confidence to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.

Experience within Defence, Nuclear, Engineering, Consultancy or the Public Sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

You should be comfortable using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams, together with trackers, schedules and document repositories.

Experience with APMP, Shipley or public-sector procurement would be useful but is not essential.
