Summary: The role of BI Engineer involves working with a leading Public Sector Client to deliver data reporting and analysis solutions using Oracle Cloud tools. The position requires strong SQL skills and experience in data manipulation, with a focus on HR and Finance data modeling. The contract is set to run from April 7, 2025, until September 26, 2025, and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Oracle Cloud reporting tools, specifically OTBI and BI Publisher, for data reporting.
• Perform SQL scripting and data manipulation tasks.
• Engage in data preparation and modeling activities, particularly in HR and Finance contexts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data inputs and communicate analysis results in business-friendly terms.
• Document reporting requirements through Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specification Documents, and Technical Specification Documents.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools - OTBI & BI Publisher.
• Strong SQL scripting skills.
• Understanding of data preparation and data modeling in HR and Finance.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
