Summary: The Data Quality/BI Analyst role focuses on ensuring effective data management and compliance across all functional systems within the organization. The position is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and improving data standards while fostering a culture of data governance and GDPR compliance. The analyst will analyze compliance activities, identify anomalies, and contribute to the development of the Data Management and GDPR Strategy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold overall responsibility for ensuring staff adhere to agreed data standards across all systems.
  • Monitor and analyse compliance activity across numerous systems, identifying data anomalies, inconsistencies and process breaches.
  • Produce reports highlighting problem areas and create structured action plans to resolve data standard issues.
  • Manage between 10-30 data audits annually across the organisation.
  • Undertake regular data audits across primary systems, including GDPR-related elements.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify anomalies, trends and systemic weaknesses.
  • Develop clear, evidence-based recommendations for SLT and Operational Managers.

Role Overview


The Data Quality/BI Analyst is responsible for ensuring that staff maintain and utilise data effectively across all functional systems. The role has organisation-wide accountability for monitoring, auditing and improving data standards, while embedding a strong culture of data governance and GDPR compliance.


Operating across numerous systems, the postholder will analyse compliance activity, identify anomalies, and ensure adherence to agreed data standards at all organisational levels.


This position plays a key role in the ongoing development and implementation of the Data Management and GDPR Strategy.



Key Responsibilities


Data Quality & Governance




  • Hold overall responsibility for ensuring staff adhere to agreed data standards across all systems.




  • Monitor and analyse compliance activity across numerous systems, identifying data anomalies, inconsistencies and process breaches.
