Summary: The BESS Expert role at a leading ICP provider involves leading technical developments in the Battery industry and supporting stakeholders with BESS comprehension. The position requires experience in the delivery of EPC projects and aims to grow the EPC/delivery function of the business. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying BESS, PCS, and EMS providers while ensuring project compliance with grid standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the lead person on technical developments in the Battery industry - supporting internal and external stakeholders with technical comprehension of BESS.
- Growing the EPC/delivery function of the business by understanding the full tender process.
- Identification and selection of BESS, PCS and EMS providers.
- Ensuring delivery of projects in accordance with grid compliance.
Key Skills:
- Strong background within BESS (upwards of three years).
- Experience in the delivery of EPC projects.
- Training with inverter manufacturers is a bonus.
