Summary: The Benefits Program Manager for EMEA & APJ at Databricks will oversee the management of employee benefits programs across 19 countries, ensuring alignment with company values and compliance with local regulations. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience. The position requires a strong background in benefits management, particularly within the EMEA and APJ regions, and includes responsibilities such as project management, data analysis, and communication of benefits programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of benefits programs, including health & welfare, retirement, time-off, and leave of absence.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex employee benefits issues and provide guidance to employees, managers, and People Team members.
  • Manage relationships with external benefits vendors and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to enable operational efficiency and support the business as it scales.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects such as global expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and system enhancements.
  • Support with annual processes such as renewals and annual enrollments.
  • Analyze benefits data and advise on industry trends to inform decision-making and program improvements.
  • Ensure benefits programs comply with local laws and regulations, monitoring legislative changes as needed.
  • Develop and deliver clear and effective benefits communication materials.
  • Oversee regional benefits budgets and invoicing.
  • Coach and mentor Benefits Analysts and other cross-functional team members.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in managing employee benefits programs, focusing on EMEA and APJ regions.
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations and practices across multiple countries.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Reporting directly to the Head of Benefits, you will work on different projects to help us build and expand offerings that are authentic to our values.

The Impact You Will Have Oversee the day-to-day management of benefits programs, including health & welfare, retirement, time-off, and leave of absence, across our EMEA and APJ regions.
