Banking Operations - Cash Processing/Handling Experts - Operating Model design/Cash Operations
We are supporting a banking client on an assignment focused on Cash Operations and the Cash Processing/Cash Handling operating model and are looking to speak with experienced banking operations professionals who have a strong understanding of cash processing activities and the end-to-end cash lifecycle.
We are interested in individuals at a range of levels, from experienced operational specialists through to senior managers/subject matter experts, provided they have a strong and relevant background in Cash Operations, Cash Processing or Cash Handling within a banking environment.
Relevant experience could include:
- Banking Operations, specifically Cash Operations/Cash Processing/Cash Handling
- Physical cash management and the movement of cash through banking operations
- Branch cash operations and/or central cash processing
- Cash-in-transit arrangements and third-party cash providers
- Cash reconciliation, balancing and exception management
- Cash ordering, forecasting, distribution and collection
- End-to-end cash lifecycle management
- Operational controls, risk and governance relating to cash
- Process mapping and review of current-state cash operations
- Operating model design, transformation or optimisation
- Defining operational roles, responsibilities, ownership and governance
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation and control
The profile
Operations practitioners and subject matter experts who understand how cash operations actually work within a bank.
Hands-on operational expertise who can bring practical knowledge of cash processing and help assess and shape the future operating model. (This is not primarily a technology/digital role).
Experience in operating model design, business process improvement or transformation would be advantageous, but deep operational experience in Cash Processing/Cash Handling is the key requirement.
