Summary: The Bank Registered Nurse role at NBTeXtra offers experienced nurses the opportunity for flexible working patterns within a collaborative bank supporting one of the South West's largest hospitals. Key Responsibilities:
- Support all clinical areas of the Trust as required.
- Ensure compliance with Trust and local policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise and guide other staff, including healthcare support workers and students.
- Report significant changes in patient conditions to the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to health promotion by providing education and support to patients.
- Ensure safe medication ordering, administration, and custody.
- Assist in coordinating discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Skills:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience (15 months for NQNs).
- Recent acute hospital experience within the last 18-24 months.
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer/IT skills with a willingness to develop further.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Ability to commit to a 4-day induction programme.
