Summary: The role of Bank / Adhoc Paediatric Anaesthetist Registrar involves supporting the development of a day case surgical pathway for paediatric services at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, starting in April 2025. Candidates must be post-FRCA stage 2 or 3 trainees with completed paediatric competencies and must hold EPALS or APLS certifications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a day case surgical pathway for paediatric services.

  • Participate in the strategic growth of children and young people's services.
  • Demonstrate paediatric experience and competencies as required.

Key Skills:

  • Post-FRCA stage 2 or 3 trainees with completed paediatric competencies.

  • Level 3 Paediatric Safeguarding knowledge.
  • Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
  • Commitment to supporting the hospital's paediatric service development.
