Summary: The role is for three Senior Backend .NET Developers on an initial three-month contract, focusing on building scalable systems and solving complex problems. Candidates will work with .NET 8.0 and Azure to create next-generation backend services. The position requires collaboration with product owners and designers, as well as mentoring junior developers. The role is based in Liverpool with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable microservices in .NET 8.0 and Azure.
- Write clean, testable code with a focus on performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to shape features from concept to delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Architect robust APIs and database solutions with clean, maintainable code.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Azure cloud services.
- Contribute ideas, share feedback, and grow together with a team that values openness and collaboration.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in C#, .NET 8.0, and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of Docker and Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of Clean Architecture and Mediator Pattern (nice to have).
