Backend/Full Stack Developer - Rates, FXO, e-trading, UI - JavaScript, Typescript, React - CONTRACT
Our Investment Banking client is looking for an experienced Senior Backend/Full Stack Developer to join their team, working on high-performance financial markets systems.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years' commercial development experience within Investment Banking/Financial Services
- Strong Core Java development experience - essential
- Spring, Concurrency, Microservices
- Real Time/event-driven architecture
- Kafka and distributed systems experience
- Docker/OpenShift and CI/CD/DevOps
- Experience with Cassandra or other distributed data stores
- RX Java/functional programming advantageous
- Full-stack experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and React
- Experience with npm/yarn, Webpack desirable
Financial Markets Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets/Investment Banking
- Experience with Derivatives/e-Trading highly desirable
- Knowledge of Rates, FX or FX Options (FXO) advantageous
- Experience supporting production systems/2nd line support
This is a hands-on development role focused on the end-to-end design, development and support of Real Time financial markets applications.
Hybrid Working based in Central London - inside IR35 (initial 12 month contract, to be extended).
