What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
Developing and maintaining APIs and microservices using .
NET, ASP.
NET, Java and Spring Boot
Designing and implementing solutions for distributed systems, with experience of containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
Writing clean, well-tested code and contributing to CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable deployments
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Optimizing database design and queries using SQL and relational databases
Contributing to infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP
Participating in code reviews and supporting team standards for code quality and maintainability
What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Proven experience in backend development with .
NET, ASP.
NET, Java or Python
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs and distributed systems design
Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Experience with SQL and relational database design
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Competency in at least one modern programming language
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Nice-to-have experience:
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Microsoft Azure Administrator Certified Associate
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
Kubernetes certifications (CKAD, CKA)
Working knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot or other enterprise frameworks
Experience with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE)
Familiarity with data pipelines and data quality practices
