Backend Developer - Typescript/AWS/Serverless

Our Gov client are looking for a team of Backend Developers to join a huge public facing project that is used by thousands of citizens throughout the UK.

Backend Developer :

• Essential skills for Backend Developers include Serverless architecture, Typescript, AWS and AWS Lambda.
• The client uses a mixture of Infrastructure as code tools: AWS CDK and to a lesser extend Terraform.
• The clients primary database technology is DynamoDB.
• The client uses the following CI/CD pipelines: Github Actions
• The client uses the following automated testing frameworks in production: automated testing, unit & integration/feature - ephemeral branch deployments to do this on - and using K6 for performance testing, conducted in AWS CodeBuild environments.

Gov background is highly desirable

1 day a week onsite - Manchester

This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.
