MCS Group has a short-term contract opportunity available for an experienced Back-End Engineer with Python experience. This Back End Engineer will work on a heavily data focused part of the project, and will help the client to implement a data ingestion pipeline in Azure. This Back End Engineer will bring their hands-on expertise with Python, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory, and make an effective contribution to a high-profile client's project. The Role This Back-End Engineer will design a Data Model with Azure Synapse. You will develop ETL Pipelines in Azure Data Factory. You will work closely with the client and their in-house team. This role is predominantly work from home, but being available to visit the client in Belfast is essential. The Person Experience in developing applications with Python and SQL is essential. You will also have commercial experience of Azure Data Factory. This role also requires experience of server design, data modelling and architecture. You will also have a core understanding of fundamental data structures, algorithm design & problem solving. Given the short term nature of this role, being able to work effectively and to deadlines is essential.
