Key Responsibilities:

- Support data engineering tasks using Apache Iceberg as part of the wider data platform.
- Implement secure development practices aligned with DevSecOps principles.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to contribute to technical design discussions in a greenfield environment.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Serve as a bridge between product, engineering, and wider business teams to maintain clear communication and alignment.
- Remove impediments and support continuous improvement within the team.
- Champion agile principles and support best practices across the team.
- Track progress, report delivery status, and help maintain a predictable sprint cadence.
Key Skills:

About the Role
Our Client is embarking on a greenfield technology initiative to build modern, scalable, secure platforms that will support its growing financial services operations. We are looking for a Mid-Level Developer with strong Back End engineering experience and a solid understanding of modern containerised environments.
This role is uniquely split between 60% hands-on development and 40% Scrum Master responsibilities, supporting delivery within a small, agile engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Development (60%)
