Summary: The role of a Banking Business Analyst involves collaborating with various stakeholders to support Private Banking Relationship Managers in executing sales strategies and maintaining client relationships. The position requires extensive experience in the Banking and Cards Services regulatory environment, focusing on operational and technical tasks to identify and resolve potential issues. The analyst will also be responsible for gathering business and non-functional requirements, as well as assisting in documentation and project management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play active role in building internal networks
- Organize and collect information to assist the Relationship Manager(s) with tasks
- Assist Private Banking Relationship Manager(s) in executing sales strategies and post-sales maintenance
- Interact and collaborate with various stakeholders including Pershing, Sales Staff, External Clients, Controllers, Compliance, CSAM, Traders, Credit Officers, and IT
- Lead operational and/or technical tasks/projects/assignments to identify and solve potential problems
- Assist in writing Use Cases, Business Requirements Documents, tracking defects, and providing summaries for management
- Partner with relationship managers to create a trusted advisor relationship between the bank and client
- Engage product and business specialists for requirements gathering and documentation
Key Skills:
- Minimum 10+ years Lead Business Analyst experience in the Banking and Cards Services regulatory environment
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Banking and Cards
- Knowledge of financial and economic concepts including cash flow and wire transfers
- Training and/or mentoring in a project environment
- Ability to deliver and remain focused during periods of stress
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline
- End-to-end project experience working in a workflow system (Pega preferred but not essential)

- Partner with relationship managers to create a trusted advisor relationship between the bank and client, including Business and non-functional requirements gathering, analysis and functional design
- Engagement of product and business specialists and documentation to gather requirements
