Summary: The Flight Technical Services (FTS) Manager at BA Euroflyer will lead the technical support function for the BAEF fleet, ensuring safe and compliant operations. This role involves providing performance and weight balance expertise, supporting airfield approvals, and managing aircraft weight and balance processes. The FTS Manager will also engage in aviation projects and represent the company in industry groups, contributing to the growth of the airline. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and advice as a performance and weight and balance expert to the Flight Operations team.
- Support airfield approval processes and standard routes, including performance calculations and safety evaluations.
- Assist with dry lease and aircraft introduction/exit processes.
- Represent the company at industry, regulatory, and technical groups.
- Produce fuel usage, emissions, and noise statistics for Flight Ops and Flight Crew.
- Develop and deliver processes for RefuelEU Template for Aircraft Operator statistics.
- Manage the Company Weight and Balance function, ensuring proper maintenance processes.
- Act as the primary contact with the Commercial Department for seasonal weight penalties and payload calculations.
- Collaborate with Flight Ops to understand mPilot user requirements and provide solutions.
- Act as project manager for ad-hoc tasks assigned by Flight Ops Management.
