Summary: The role of Systems Developer focuses on designing, developing, and updating IT systems to support business-as-usual services and the IT Change Portfolio. The position requires a strong background in various programming languages and technology solutions, particularly within Azure and .NET environments. The developer will work in a hybrid setting, with one day on-site in Lancashire. This role is classified as inside IR35 and is expected to last between 3 to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and update IT systems to support BAU services and IT Change Portfolio.
  • Analyze business requirements and document system design.
  • Develop objects/code, perform unit testing, and manage deployment.
  • Utilize various programming languages and technology solutions in development.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in development, programming, and integration across languages such as SQL, .NET, HTML, Java, XML, C++, C#, PHM, Python.
  • Broad experience with technology solutions including ERP, CRM, ESB, Azure, Cloud, AI, IoT, RPA.
  • Familiarity with software/technical development delivery approaches like Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps.
  • Strong analytical skills for business requirements and system design documentation.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Degree in IT/STEM related discipline or equivalent (desirable).
  • IT systems development certifications and experience with Microsoft D365 CRM, Azure Integration Services (desirable).

Salary (Rate): £450 daily

Hybrid (1-day onsite Lancashire)

Currently looking for a Systems Developer to design, develop and update a client’s IT Systems to help support the BAU service and wider IT Change Portfolio. The following skills and experience required for this role is as follows:

Essential

  • Experience in the development, programming, and integration across one or more development languages such as SQL, .NET, HTML, Java, XML, C++, C#, PHM, Python, etc.
  • Broad Experience of a range of technology solutions including ERP, CRM, ESB, Azure, Cloud, AI, IoT, RPA, etc.
  • Experience of one or more software/technical development delivery approaches such as Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, etc.
  • Experience of analysing business requirements, documenting system design, developing objects/code, unit testing and deployment.
  • Good oral and written communications.

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level in an IT/STEM related degree discipline or equivalent.
  • IT systems development certifications and/or experience in Microsoft D365 CRM, Azure Integration Services, Asset and Oracle Fusion Cloud, etc.
