Summary: The Azure Software Engineer role involves supporting an enterprise legacy modernization program for a global brand. This delivery-focused position requires building and integrating cloud-native services across core business systems. The role is hybrid and is based in Epsom, which is not accessible by public transport. The contract duration is six months and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and integrate services using Azure Functions, APIM, REST APIs, C#/.NET, and JavaScript
  • Develop and support applications using Azure SQL/SQL MI
  • Deliver data pipelines and ETL workflows with Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Spark (Python), and Azure Storage (Data Lake, Blob)
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using ARM templates with Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Support testing, releases, monitoring, and production stability
  • Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, including on-site sessions where required

Key Skills:

  • Solid commercial experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Good C#/.NET and integration experience
  • Comfortable working in hybrid delivery environments
