Summary: The Azure Software Engineer role involves supporting a global brand's enterprise legacy modernization program through the development and integration of cloud-native services. This delivery-focused position requires building services using Azure technologies and collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders. The role is a 6-month contract, hybrid with 2 days on-site in Epsom, which is not accessible by public transport. The position is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and integrate services using Azure Functions, APIM, REST APIs, C#/.NET, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and support applications using Azure SQL / SQL MI.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using ARM templates with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Support testing, releases, monitoring, and production stability.
  • Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, including on-site sessions where required.

Key Skills:

  • Solid commercial experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Good C#/.NET and integration experience.
  • Comfortable working in hybrid delivery environments.

Salary (Rate): £60.00/hr
