Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage scalable, automated deployment pipelines and cloud environments.
  • Deploy monitoring tools to ensure service health, respond to incidents, and lead root cause analysis efforts.
  • Continuously assess and optimize performance and capacity to meet future demand.
  • Use tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to provision and maintain infrastructure securely.
  • Integrate SRE principles into development pipelines and product life cycles.
  • Implement cloud security best practices and cost management within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Lead on defining and tracking SLOs, and participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 system reliability.
  • Develop internal tools to boost engineering efficiency and maintain detailed system documentation.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years in a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps capacity, specifically within Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Deep Azure knowledge: VMs, storage, networking, governance, and cost optimization.
  • Proficient with IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Strong scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI.
  • Expert in tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Splunk, or Elastic Stack.
  • Hands-on with incident response processes and SLO-driven operations.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
  • Familiarity with hybrid and virtual networking (VPNs, NSGs, load balancing, hub & spoke).
  • Excellent communicator and team player in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation capabilities.
