Summary: The Azure Security Engineer role is a 3-month contract focused on enhancing Microsoft's security posture across cloud and endpoint environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Remediate vulnerabilities identified by Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, and External Attack Surface Management (EASM).
  • Improve Microsoft Secure Score through hands-on configuration hardening across Azure, identity, endpoints, and workloads.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Purview controls including DLP, sensitivity labels, insider risk, and records management.
  • Support detection and response activities, including Sentinel tuning, alert triage, and threat investigation.
  • Work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver real remediation and measurable risk reduction.

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, and EASM.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, insider risk).
  • Proven experience remediating vulnerabilities across Azure and endpoint environments.

We're hiring an experienced Azure Security Engineer to take hands-on ownership of improving Microsoft security posture across cloud and endpoint environments. This role is focused on real remediation, not just advisory work, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Defender, vulnerability reduction, and Purview-led compliance uplift.
