Key Responsibilities:
- Development and support of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery processes using Azure DevOps.
- Management and development of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
- Assist in the copy/migration of Azure-based applications.
- Resolve problems at their root with simple and repeatable solutions.
- Provide guidance to Platform, Software, and Data Engineering teams.
- Consideration of TCO of deployed solutions and cost management.
- Develop tools and processes to improve customer experience through automation.
- Produce design documentation for Cloud solutions deployed in Azure.
- Collaborate with customers and product & engineering teams for long-term solutions.
- Build tools that enable teams to operate safely at high speed and wide scale.
Key Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve Azure-related issues independently.
- Familiarity with Windows Server OS; Linux experience beneficial.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, especially PowerShell, Terraform, YAML, and Ansible.
- CI tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract- The Platform Engineer is responsible for continued enhancement, delivery, and support of Azure environment as the business moves forwards with its digital transformation. We are seeking a highly resourceful and independent professional to support the divestiture of Ki-Insurance. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows Server OS and networking. They will have the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a dynamic project team. This role requires adaptability, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset to navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment
Principal Accountabilities:
- Development and support of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery processes, using Azure DevOps, and aligned to best practice.
- Management and use of existing as well as development of new Infrastructure-as-Code, using Terraform, building pipelines and testable secure infrastructure for deploying applications in the cloud.
- Work as part of a project team to assist in the copy / migration of azure based applications.
- Resolve problems at their root with simple and repeatable solutions.
- Provide guidance to the wider Platform, Software, and Data Engineering teams.
- Consideration of TCO of deployed solutions, and good cost management of the platform.
- Develop tools and processes that drive and improve customer experience through automation.
- Produce design documentation of Cloud solutions and for services being deployed in Azure.
- Work with Brit’s Customers, and product & engineering teams to build long-term solutions.
- Collaborate and build tools that enable teams to operate safely at high speed and wide scale
